Welcome to Tinsel & Tartan
If you've already visited Tinsel & Tartan, you’ll know how proud I am of Scotland, of Stirling and of my wee shop. If you haven't yet been, I hope you’ll pop by some day. I know like me, you'll fall for the beautiful, historic city of Stirling and hopefully enjoy a visit to my Christmas shop and of course that you’ll love the Scottish goodies inside.
Once home from their travels, many of my lovely visitors asked if they could purchase items for me to post home to them, so in May 2020 I launched my website and I'm delighted to be sending my Bonnie Baubles all over the world.
Meet the Scgolies
My wonderful Scgolies are cute wee creatures who once lived in burrows under a hill in Fife. They've come to Tinsel & Tartan as they want to travel the world. Every Scgoli comes with his own special book which tells his story and even explains what keeps him warm under his kilt!
When you adopt a Scgoli, you must think of a really good name for him and remember to keep him happy by taking him everywhere with you so he can share his adventures with his Scgoli clan online #giveascgoliahome. Remember to upload a photo of your Scgoli in his new hometown.view the products

I came across Tinsel & Tartan on Facebook so decided to pop in. I love collecting Christmas baubles on my travels as each one brings back a special memory. When I walked in, I was like a kid in a sweet shop. So many great baubles. So many great Scottish baubles. Already I have picked out a few for my tree and will be back to get more for my friends and family (especially those abroad). If you are a tourist in Stirling, this is the perfect place to visit and take home a special souvenir to remind you of your holiday. If you are local, you need to go in and get some new baubles for your tree this year.
What a lovely shop. It is an aladdins cave of delights. Beautiful decorations which are lovely for any time not just Christmas. I bought a little ballerina mouse for my 6 year old neighbour and the delight on her face said it all. There is also a beautiful ary of scottish and tartan gifts, many handmade in Scotland. My friend loved her Tartan brooch which I gave her for her wedding day. As I said it is a shop full of treasures and well worth a trip in, even if it's just to meet and chat to the lovely Lindsey and Mr Manfred xx
Came across this delightful shop whilst wandering through the Arcade in Stirling. I never thought I would be buying Christmas ornaments in the summer but I fell for its charms, or should I say the charms of the lovely lady who runs this shop. Very friendly and welcoming the minute we stepped in and my husband ended up talking about the Arcade itself and the theatre that used to be above the shops. We were also shown pictures she had of the way this arcade used to look ‘in the day’. This just added to our visit. I bought some lovely Victorian type doll figures to hang on the tree, they are lovely and a very reasonable price. This shop is full of lovely items. Well worth a visit.
