My new 2025 “we love kilts” calendars are here at last! They’re always a favourite in Tinsel & Tartan…these gorgeous guys actually do go to all these fabulous locations in Scotland and jump about like nutters getting fantastic pictures, nothing is photoshopped.
I’m forever volunteering to help, but as yet, they’ve never taken me up on the offer lol…here’s the official description from the folks at WE LIVE KILTS …
Scotland’s iconic national dress and tartans are showcased in magnificent settings ranging from coasts and castles to mountains, lochs and a woodland walk for this, our We Love Kilts Calendar 2025.
Captured for your visual delight through the discerning lens of top Scottish photographer Alistair Devine for the seventh in our best-selling series since first launched in 2019, our twelve-strong tartan army of models became as one with their surroundings as the camera shutter snapped at the ideal moment to record the perfect shot.
January finds Grevon among the ruins of Urquhart Castle, overlooking Loch Ness, home to the elusive Loch Ness Monster more fondly known as Nessie.
Neal ventures into a rocky Highland landscape near Aviemore for February’s shoot beside the Cairngorm Funicular Railway as it ascends the slopes of Cairn Gorm while Finlay shrugs off the rain by dancing a jig on the esplanade of Edinburgh Castle for March’s picture.
Chris takes a relaxed stance beside stacked barrels destined to be filled with whisky, our famous national tipple, for April’s picture, while his namesake Chris is all at sea in May off the West Sands Beach, St Andrews.
For June, we are off the west coast and on the Isle of Mull as Highland cattle, better known as Heilan coos, are joined in their ruminations by Declan.
Back on the mainland, Matt blends into the timeless and rugged grandeur of Glencoe for July’s shoot, while Dunure Castle on the Ayrshire coast is the setting for Graeme as he looks out to sea from the rocky foreshore for August’s picture.
September finds Ian standing sentinel beside the natural wonder that is the Lone Oak Tree, near Balmaha on the eastern shore of Loch Lomond, while October features Alan kicking up a mini-storm of autumn leaves on a popular Perthshire walking route.
Bathed in ethereal light, the Clyde Arc that connects the south and north banks of the River Clyde and better known to Glaswegians as the Squinty Bridge, forms the backdrop for Cesur in November’s picture while, bringing the year to a chilly close, Jason braves the elements atop a snowboard on the slopes of mighty Aonach Mòr, northeast of Ben Nevis.
Enjoy a unique pictorial journey throughout 2025 with our We Love Kilts Calendar – complete with date boxes for every day of the week, interesting details about the locations – and some quirky facts you may not know about tartans and the kilt.
